Why Reducing Plastic is Important to Us

At Dooryard Provisions, we made a decision early on that we would minimize, if not eliminate, the use of plastic. This has meant using compostable bags and labels for our packaged items instead of plastic.  
Nature brings us the food we eat, and in return we want to make choices that keep our environment clean, healthy and strong.  This article from Hakai Magazine illustrates how decreasing the use of plastic can benefit the ocean and the creatures that live there.
